I was so excited to hear I had won the “Walking Vancouver” book contest!
Now I can start planning my adventures in a new city which I’m certain I will love as much as I love St. Albert and Edmonton.

I live in Vancouver. However, I am having guests during the 2010 olympics. This book would be an excellent preview for my guests.

I walk in Vancouver… a lot! But lately it has mostly been in laps around the Olympic Superstore. Working and living downtown means sometimes I let myself get a bit limited in my walking destinations but I think this book would help that! Thanks for the contest! It is pretty sweet!

Why?

1-
To better enjoy the city of Vancouver. We go to the same places again, and again, – walks we know and are comfortable with. It would be great to see the city from a fresh perspective.

2-
My parents will be for a month, and would give them some great ideans for the days when bubby and I both have to work.

I would very much appreciate receiving this book, because it’s not easy to get it in Belarus. Vancouver is my and wife’s dream for over 3 years and we now have a good chance to move there by the end of 2010. I’m shure we’ll learn this book by heart to that happy moment

Because I’ve been here for a year now, seen and done so much, but I *still* only feel like I’ve scratched the surface of what this town has to offer. I need a street-level gritty guide to get me out and to bring my friend along too – to show this magnificence to the newbies, and to soften the oldies.

I, too, would love this book to help me re-discover my favorite city, particularly in light of my recent commitment to walk 10,000 steps a day. I’m thinking there are millions of delightful steps to be had, both for me and my sweetie, in this tasty tome.
