Tsawassen to Swartz Bay is a pretty damn pretty ferry ride. The Northern Gulf Islands are gorgeous too, but that one and Bowen are probably most accessible for day trippers heading out from the city. Skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa...can't have a water tour of Canada if some of it isn't done on ice! Takes you from Carleton University through the Glebe into downtown and spits you out smack between the Byward Market and the Parliament Buildings. A couple perhaps…
